Sea Cabin, Salt Spring Island
A waterfront house gradually built by the owner over time. The concept for this home was to link an open loft style house to a flanking stone swimming pool with a connecting bridge. One enters from the forest behind and the bridge frames the views to the sea and serves as a covered outdoor room. Future Guest rooms will complete the composition poolside. The house has window sill height curving stone walls to match the adjacent pool, including winding a staircase in glass block.
